Studio Leads at JETSET Pilates are the heartbeat of the studio. They are sales-focused leaders responsible for driving revenue, converting prospects, and creating an elevated client experience that fuels retention and growth.

This is not a front desk role — it is a performance-based position centred around membership sales, client engagement, and building a thriving studio community. This role requires someone who loves connecting with people. Someone who knows clients by name, recognises their progress, and actively builds community both inside and outside the studio. Studio Leads foster positivity, momentum, and team spirit, creating an environment where clients feel supported, motivated, and proud to be part of JETSET.

Through exceptional service, strategic follow-up, and consistent outreach, Studio Leads help turn first-time visitors into long-term members.

Core Responsibilities

Revenue & Sales Performance

  • Actively sell memberships, class packages, and retail in-person, online, and over the phone
  • Convert trials, previews, and enquiries into active members
  • Follow up on all leads using CRM to maximize conversion rates
  • Identify upgrade opportunities and proactively recommend the best membership option
  • Support the General Manager/Owner-Operator in achieving monthly sales goals
  • Maintain deep knowledge of pricing, promotions, and offers to confidently close sales

Client Experience & Retention

  • Deliver an elevated boutique fitness experience at every interaction
  • Greet, check in, and engage clients with professionalism and energy
  • Build authentic relationships to increase retention and lifetime value
  • Resolve concerns quickly and turn challenges into loyalty-building moments
  • Create a welcoming, high-energy, sales-positive studio environment

Operations & Studio Standards

  • Accurately process transactions and manage retail sales
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and brand-aligned front desk and lobby
  • Support instructors with opening and closing procedures
  • Answer phones, emails, and enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Keep inventory stocked and retail visually appealing
  • Assist with monthly stocktake

Marketing

  • Participate in social media content creation
  • Actively engage with leads, clients, and potential partners through social media

Schedule & Expectations

  • Work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
  • Consistently represent JETSET Pilates Standards of Service
  • Take ownership of studio performance and sales results
  • Adaptable and dynamic team member who readily takes on additional responsibilities as required

JETSET Pilates Instructors motivate clients through 50-minute, choreographed classes. They are responsible for guiding clients safely and effectively through our modern Pilates workout and showing them modifications and form corrections as needed. Instructors are expected to be able to provide support and encouragement to clients of varying skill levels. They embody the culture and brand to support a welcoming and engaging community.

JETSET Pilates instructors are dedicated individuals who are invested in their team and the workout; they occasionally assume other duties as assigned and are expected to work early morning, evening, and weekend shifts as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication and Retention
  • Responsible for new client reformer overview.
  • Ensures new clients are safe during class.
  • Fosters a sense of community in the studio.
  • Consistently provides modifications and amplifications during class to give an accessible and excellent class experience.
  • Maintains class utilization at or above the studio’s average.
Sales
  • Upsell clients on packages and memberships in the studio.
  • Upsell clients on private packages (where available).
  • Ensure all clients in class have a paid reservation and reconciled account balance.
Studio Operations
  • Makes sure reformers are reset after each class, weights/straps put away and reformers wiped down.
  • Steps in to help sub classes for other instructors when necessary.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Consistently delivers a high-quality workout and client experience.
  • Teaches 9 – 15 classes per week.
  • Teaches 90% of responsible monthly class load.
  • Attends continuing education workshops as required.

Required Qualifications/Experience

Must hold at least one of the following qualifications:
  • Certificate III or IV in Fitness
  • Pilates Instructor Certification
  • Lagree Instructor Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years in the fitness industry, including experience instructing group exercise classes.
  • Current First Aid certification and professional liability insurance.
